Raised in the historic countryside of Pennsylvania, I grew up with an innate curiosity about the wider world — a pull toward urban life, diverse cultures, and the kind of creative energy that only exists when talent concentrates in a city. That restlessness became the foundation of both my journey and my design sensibility.

I graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2009 and set out across the country, moving from San Francisco to Chicago, where I joined Gary Lee Partners and spent nearly five years learning from a talented group of senior architects and designers. A desire to deepen my work in hospitality brought me back to the east coast to work at Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, where my instincts sharpened and my sense of what truly excites me became clear.

That clarity led me to Gachot Studios — the most rewarding chapter of my career. I was drawn immediately to the studio's exceptional attention to detail and the caliber of its work, and it has been a privilege to contribute to its growth over the past decade. During those years I also married and welcomed two daughters, an experience that has only deepened my commitment to thoughtful, purposeful design.

I'm now looking toward my next chapter: one where craft and collaboration remain central, and where ambition and balance can coexist.
